Madison Caan was born in New York City to her southern mom and dad—from Alabama and Florida respectively—and grew up in nearby Connecticut. Since the first broadway musical she saw as a little girl, she told her mom she wanted to do that, to be on stage. After nearly a decade of experience in the performing arts in New York and Los Angeles, and a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre, Madison moved to Toronto where her film and tv career would bloom, along with her love for filmmaking. Madison often wears many hats, but you can call her an actor, producer, writer, director, wife, friend, and of course, woman.

Madison is the co-founder and president of Screaming Goat Films, a production company founded by actors who were tired of waiting for the next time they get to work. After four years, Madison has produced seven short films and directed the feature-length documentary, A Radical Dream, telling the story of a Canadian rookie race car driver as he chases his dream to go pro.

Her shorts have been well received, such as thriller, Stairwell, which screened in LA at the Playhouse West Film Festival, and Grievers, a dark comedy, which was selected to screen at the Canadian Film Festival's Comedy Igniter Film Competition. Most cherished is her win for Best Actress for her comedic role as Officer Bertuzzi in Con/Freud, which came alongside her co-stars win for Best Actor, and an award for Best Short at the New York City Short Comedy Film Festival.

Madison is newly repped by Ryan Goldhar at The Characters (Toronto). Feature film acting credits include her role as Bailey in creature-action feature film, Mortal Game, her role as Amanda in horror film, Cheat, and the role of Becky in biopic, Blindly Victorious. Always chasing the stage, Madison broke out in the Toronto theatre scene with her starring role as dv victim, Lisa, in Rebecca Gilman's harrowing stage play, The Glory of Living.

Madison feels lucky she gets to do this for a living. These stories and characters live with her for a lifetime, even if it's for a short time on stage...or forever on screen.
